10th International Energy Forum - Press Accreditation








Please note: Deadline to apply for media accreditation is April 13, 2006

The organizers of the 10th International Energy Forum welcome journalists to attend the conference. To obtain media accreditation, journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend must complete the Media Accreditation form and submit it with a recent photo. Applications without photos cannot be processed.

To be accredited, members of the press must hold valid press credentials. Freelance journalists will not be accredited unless they provide an assignment letter from a news organization or publication.

The procedure is as follows:
A letter of authorization from your editor or executive of your organization must be faxed to Mr. Abdulla Khamis Al-Kuwari, Head of Media, Public Relations Department, Qatar Petroleum. Fax: (974) + 4946527

Complete the Media Accreditation form with photo and email to j_kelly@qp.com.qa

Please note: Faxed copies of the Media Accreditation Form cannot be processed unless a photo is also received. Applications through the post will delay the receipt of confirmation letter.

Entitlements
Media accreditation will entitle the holder access to the Opening and Closing sessions. All other sessions will be closed to the media. The media name badge must be worn at all times.

The registration desk will be located in Ritz Carlton Doha. Registration will be open from 10am, April 21,2006.

Hotel and Visa
Upon receipt of application and photos you will receive an email letter of confirmation with hotel reservations forms.

All transport and accommodation costs are to be incurred by the individual or the media representative’s organization.

Media Center
There will be a media center available in Ritz Carlton Doha. The media center will include working space, PCs (internet access), phone (local access), fax (international access) and photocopying facilities. Work space will be available on a first come, first served basis.
