With the increase in world energy demand, both energy exporting and importing countries face unprecedented challenges. Present and future supply and demand fundamentals need to achieve a sustainable balance. Significant and sustained investments are required throughout the energy chain in order to secure the continuity of present production and to compensate for capacity constraints in the face of increasing demand.
The 10th International Energy Forum aims to highlight and discuss potential policy frameworks which encourage efficient market operation through improved transparency, non-discrimination and stability, thereby creating suitable environment for industry to effectively tackle and eradicate bottlenecks.
